Summary: Ryo and Tatsuya have been best friends since they were young but unknown to Tatsuya, Ryo is in love with him. One day, something happened which made Ryo wish that he and Tatsuya were never friends and that he has all grown up. What happens when he wakes up one morning, all grown up without Tatsuya by his side?

"Are you really sure you want to come today? I can always ask the manager to spare you from this meeting." Yamapi told Tatsuya as he drives the car.
"I'll be fine. You already excused me from the meeting the other day and besides, I would only prolong my suffering. I'll still meet him whether I like it or not." Tatsuya said.
Today is their first meeting with T&T Music Company and their manager said that The Famous T&T Trio will be present. When Yamapi heard the news, he immediately asked Tatsuya if he is willing to go. Tatsuya said he'll be fine but Yamapi thinks the opposite. He said that if ever Tatsuya can't handle it, he can tell him and they would leave as soon as possible.
They arrived at the agency an hour earlier. They went straight to their dressing room and as usual, Kame and Jin were already there. Though it's a fact that Jin is always a late comer, he doesn't stand a chance when Kame drags him out of bed in the morning. The two were already dressed for today’s meeting and were having their breakfast.
"Good Morning!" Jin greeted when they entered.
"Oh! Tat-chan! Pi-chan! You're here! Have you eaten breakfast?" Kame asked when he saw the two.
"Good Morning! Yes, we already had breakfast." Yamapi said.
“Of course. How can I forget? As usual you made sure Tat-chan eats." Kame said as he bites into his sandwich.
Yamapi and Tatsuya got dressed as Jin and Kame ate. After half an hour, their manager came in.
"Boys, we need you soon okay?" The manager said.
"Yes Sir!" Jin said.
Yamapi looked at Tatsuya who was sitting in one corner.
"You know you don't have to do this." Yamapi said
"I'll do it now. It's better if I see him now rather than when we start working."
The four of them left the dressing room together and went to the conference room to meet their new project partners. Yamapi held Tatsuya's hand as they walked in the corridor. He can feel how tight Tatsuya's hold on him. When they arrived at the conference room, everyone stood up to greet them. Kame and Jin were the first ones to enter followed by Tatsuya and Yamapi. Tatsuya looked around the room. T&T's presidents, Takkizawa and Tsubasa sat together. Beside them were Ryo, Nakamaru and Koki. The agency's President, Johnny, sat in front of Takkizawa. Jin sat beside Johnny followed by Kame, Yamapi and Tatsuya.
Ryo stared at Tatsuya the moment he saw him enter. He never took off his eyes on the other.
When everyone was present, they started the meeting. T&T's Trio will write 2 songs for the group. One will be a rock song and the other will be a ballad song. There was no specific theme for the rock song but the agency requested T&T to have a theme for the ballad song. Johnny wanted the theme to be "True Love".
"True Love?" Koki asked when he heard about the theme.
"Yes, True Love. Is there anything wrong with that?" Johnny asked.
"Well, you see, this is the first time we are asked to write a ballad song and having that kind of theme..."
"Are you not confident with your skills, Tanaka-kun?" Johnny asked
"It's not that. It's just that...Why can't we just generalize the theme. Just make it as simple as "LOVE" " Koki said
"Then it would be just like any other love song there is. Pointless." Johnny said.
Koki looked confused.
"You see, I want the theme to be "True Love" because I think this will capture the listener's heart. In our life we will experience a dozen kinds of love but the most wonderful of them is our True Love. I want people to realize that finding True Love is such a fortune and it will give them happiness but I also want to send them the message that finding it won't be easy." Johnny explained
"That is too specific for a song's theme." Nakamaru said.
"Is it?"
"Yes..."
Then there was silence between the two parties.
"So does this mean you can't write the song?" Johnny asked
"If you can't then we'll look for other music companies who can." Yamapi interrupted
"Yamashita!" Johnny said.
"Johnny, if they can't do it, why waste our time? There are a lot better song writers out there!" Yamapi said
"Why are you so against this project?" Johnny asked
"I'm not against it, I'm just saying that if they can't do it---"
"I'll write the song." Ryo suddenly said.
Everyone in the room looked at him including Tatsuya.
"Whaaaaaat?" Koki asked Ryo
"I said I'll write it." Ryo repeated.
"Really? You hate writing love songs." Nakamaru said.
"I think it's about time I start writing them AGAIN." Ryo said
"What? Wait--Again? You wrote love songs before?" Koki asked
"I only wrote one full love song but I have experience writing a line or two." Ryo said.
"Uh... can we know when you wrote this love song?" Nakamaru asked
"When I was a teenager." Ryo said.
Koki and Nakamaru laughed not caring that everyone else in the room was staring at them.
"Teenager? Are you serious? And you think you can write one now?" Nakamaru asked.
"I CAN write it." Ryo said. He made sure that Nakamaru and Koki feel that he's serious.
"Ok then, do we have a deal?" Johnny asked
Takki and Tsubasa looked at Ryo for approval.
"Yes. We can do it." Ryo said.
Takki and Tsubasa stood up to shake hands with Johnny.
"It's nice to finally work with you!" Takki said
"Same here." Johnny replied.
After exchanging their thank you’s, T&T left. Yamapi dragged Tatsuya out of the conference room when Johnny and T&T left but they were stopped by Ryo.
"Get out of the way midget!" Yamapi said as he pulled Tatsuya back and hid him from the other.
"Let me talk to Tatsuya just this once." Ryo said
"Do you think I'm crazy? Why would I do that?" Yamapi said
"Please...I won't do anything to him." Ryo said.
"No. Get out of the way!" Yamapi tried pushing Ryo but he was unsuccessful.
"Can't you understand? You can't talk to Tatsuya!" Yamapi said.
"Pi?"
Yamapi turned to see Jin and Kame looking at him.
"What?" Yamapi asked the two.
"Why don't you let them talk?" Jinn said
"Are you crazy?" Yamapi asked
"Pi, I think we should let them talk." Kame said.
"You too?" Yamapi asked.
Yamapi looked at Tatsuya to ask for his opinion.
"I'll talk to him." Tatsuya said
"Are you sure?" Yamapi asked
Tatsuya nodded.
"Really sure?"
"Yes."
Yamapi sighed
"If he does anything to upset you, call me, okay?" Yamapi said
"I will." Tatsuya said.
Yamapi stepped aside to make way for Tatsuya.
"If you upset him even for just a little, I'll kill you." Yamapi told Ryo.
The other nodded as a sign that he understood.
Tatsuya walked out of the room while Ryo followed. Yamapi was about to follow them when Kame and Jin pulled him back.
"What?" Yamapi asked the two
"Where do you think you're going?" Kame asked.
"Uhmm… To the bathroom?" Yamapi said.
"Ha! Nice try,Pi. The bathrooms that way." Jin points at the opposite direction.
"What if he hurts Tatsuya?" Yamapi said
"He won't" Kame said
"How do you know? You're not him."
"I just know, okay?"
"Why don't you just believe Kame, Pi." Jin said
"Yeah. I never go wrong. Ony Jin commits mistakes." Kame said
"Hey!" Jin retorts when he heard what Kame said.
"Ok, ok, why don’t we just go outside and get some coffee. That will calm you down." Kame said
The two of them took Yamapi to the coffee shop across the street.
Tatsuya entered their dressing room and started to gather his things. Ryo followed him.
"What do you want to talk about?" Tatsuya asked.
"I just want to say that I'm glad to be working with you." Ryo said.
"Is that all?"
"I hope this project will be a success." Ryo added.
Tatsuya gave a laugh with all the words Ryo was saying. He was still gathering his things and had his back on Ryo. There was an awkward silence between them and Tatsuya was the one who broke it.
"If you don't have anything else to say, it's better if you leave." Tatsuya said
He was waiting for Ryo to say something but the other didn't talk. As a response, the other hugged him from behind. Tatsuya was surprised with what Ryo did and dropped the shirt he was putting in his bag.
"What are you doing?" Tatsuya asked.
Ryo didn't answer again and instead, he sobbed.
"Nishikido?"
"I'm sorry..." Ryo finally said.
It was now Tatsuya who wasn't able to say something.
"I'm sorry for everything that I've done to you. I don't remember most of them but I want to say sorry." Ryo said.
"Why? Why are you doing this now?" Tatsuya asked. Ryo was still crying on his back.
"It's because I wasn't myself before. I didn't know what was happening. I'm not asking you to be my best friend again. I'm not even asking you to be friends with me. All I want is your forgiveness. Please Tatsuya, forgive me for everything I've done wrong. I don't know how I can survive knowing that you hate me." Ryo said.
Tatsuya placed his hands on Ryo's arms which were hugging him and took them off. Ryo didn't resist because he knows that if he did, chances of Tatsuya forgiving him will surely decrease.
Tatsuya slowly turned to face him. Ryo was looking at the floor still crying. Tatsuya watched the other man. He looked like a little child and Tatsuya can't help but feel emotional too. He let his instincts guide him and the next thing he knew, he was pulling Ryo towards him and hugged him. Ryo who was anticipating another rejection was surprised at Tatsuya's action.
"I--I forgive you." Tatsuya said as he was hugging Ryo.
Hearing those words, Ryo cried more and hugged Tatsuya tighter.
"Thank You, Tatsuya...Thank You." Ryo said as he continued to cry some more on Tatsuya's shoulder.
A/N: i don't know what to call Tatsuya's group. can you suggest a name for them??? HAHAHAHA! XD
