Summary: Ryo and Tatsuya have been best friends since they were young but unknown to Tatsuya, Ryo is in love with him. One day, something happened which made Ryo wish that he and Tatsuya were never friends and that he has all grown up. What happens when he wakes up one morning, all grown up without Tatsuya by his side?

Ryo was late. He overslept. When he looked at is clock, it was quarter to 8 and he realized he only had 15 minutes before his meeting starts. As he took a shower and got dressed, he thought of why he didn't wake up. That's when he realized, Aya wasn't there. Aya was always the one who wakes him up and tells him his schedule. When he was done putting on his clothes, he ran out of his apartment and stormed to his car.
He pushed the door to his office and found Nakamaru, Koki, Yamapi, Tatsuya, Jin and Kame waiting.
"Oh, Sorry. I overslept." Ryo said. He was panting.
"Ah...That's okay Ryo, it's the first time you're late so we'll let it pass" Nakamaru said.
"So why are we here?" Yamapi asked
"Oh, yeah, right. Ryo will be gone for 3 days. He's going on a vacation at Okinawa." Koki said
"Yeah and before I forget, you haven't thank me for the gift Ryo." Nakamaru said
"Oh, Yeah, Thank You. Uhmmm… Nakamaru? Can I talk to you for a second?" Ryo said
Nakamaru stood up and followed Ryo outside of the room.
"Is there a problem?" Maru asked when they were outside.
"Did you tell them I'm engaged?"
"To who?"
"To them. To Tatsuya."
"Oh. No. I think I didn't. Should I tell them then?"
"No! Don't."
"Eh?"
"Promise me you won't tell them anything about Aya."
"Why?"
"Just promise me."
"Ok. Ok." Nakamaru said
"But if they ask who you're going with to Okinawa, what will I say?"
"Oh, about that, Aya didn't come home last night. I don't know where she is." Ryo said
"What? Didn't you call her?"
"No..."
Nakamaru sighed
"Give me your phone." Nakamaru said
Ryo took out his phone from his pocket and handed it. Nakamaru searched for Aya's number on Ryo's phone and dialed it. He waited for someone to answer but it was on voicemail.
Hi! This is Ueto Aya. I'm out of the country right now and I left my phone in my agency. If you need anything, just call my manager and she'll tell me the message as soon as possible. Sorry for not informing you beforehand. Bye!
"What did she say?" Ryo asked Nakamaru.
"She's not in Japan right now. She’s out of the country." Nakamaru said
"What? Where did she go?"
"She didn't say. You don’t have her manager’s number? Maybe he can tell us where she is."
"I don't think I have it." Ryo said.
"Why don't you or Koki come with me to Okinawa?" Ryo asked
"We have an appointment and you're the only one who's been granted a three day off. Koki and I already used ours during the holidays." Nakamaru said.
Ryo sighed.
"Come on. We'll think of something. Let's tell the others you won't be here for the next three days." Nakamaru said and pushed Ryo inside the room again.
When they came back, everyone was laughing at Koki and Jin's antics.
"I see we're getting along fine." Nakamaru said.
"Yes yes. Koki is so funny" Kame said.
Nakamaru smiled. He and Ryo sat at the couch.
"So, I need to inform you guys about something." Nakamaru said.
"Ah! Yes, we need to say something too." Kame said.
"Oh? Really? Well, go ahead."
"Uhmmm... We won't be here for the next three days. I mean, Tat-chan would be here but the three of us won't" Kame said referring to him, Jin and Yamapi.
"Eh?"
"Yes. Uhmmmm... Pi has to attend his sister's wedding and Jin and I...are on vacation and since we won't be here, Tat-chan also got three days off." Kame said
"So we won't be able to see you for the next three days." Yamapi said.
"Ah!!! This is really good news!" Nakamaru said.
"EHHHH?" Yamapi and Kame said.
"Oh...No no no... It's not that we don't want to see you, it's just that, Ryo is also out for three days." Nakamaru said.
“Eh? Where are you going Nishikido?" Jin asked
"To Okinawa." Ryo said
"Uwaaa~ it’s been ages since we've been there! Right Kame? Hey! I just remembered, Tat-chan wanted to go there during the holidays but Johnny booked us for a show." Jin said
"Yeah... I remember that! Tat-chan already had everything planned out for the holidays and a day before he leaves; Johnny said we have to do a show." Kame said.
"I wanted to punch the hell out of him that time." Tatsuya said
"You never had the chance to go huh?" Jin asked
Tatsuya nodded
"We're too busy with work. We never had a decent off like this one" Tatsuya said
Everybody were silent
"Uhmmmm... would you like to go with me?" Ryo suddenly asked.
Tatsuya and the others stared at him with disbelief.
"I'm going alone and it would be nice if I have someone with me. What the hell would I do there on my own?" Ryo said when he saw everyone's reaction.
"How about Maru and Koki?" Tatsuya asked
"Oh...we have appointments to attend to. Ryo's the only one who's been given the 3 days off." Koki said
"I don't know..." Tatsuya said
While everyone were talking, Yamapi just sat there in silence
"You should go Tat-chan! Yamapi and the two of us won't be around and I'll know you'll get bored." Kame said
"Right and we all know you really want to go to Okinawa and feel the beach." Jin said.
"Hmmmm.... I guess I can go..." Tatsuya said.
When Tatsuya said this, a smile formed in Ryo's face.
"Really?" Ryo asked
Tatsuya nodded.
"All right! I'll pick you up tomorrow morning okay?" Ryo said
"Ok..."
They finished up their meeting and then said their goodbyes. Nakamaru and Koki told Kame and Jin to enjoy their trip while they asked Yamapi to say congratulations to his sister.
The four men were going back to their car when Yamapi stopped and told them to go ahead. He said he left something in Ryo's office.
He knocked on the door and Ryo was the one who answered it.
"You?" Ryo asked when he saw Yamapi
"Yes. Can I come in?"
Ryo opened the door wider and let Yamapi in.
"Is something wrong?" Ryo asked
"I know that you want to spend time with Tatsuya so much but I just want to remind you about what we've talked about before. Do NOT hurt him." Yamapi said
"I won't. I promised right?"
"A promise won't do anything. I suggest you clear things out before he himself finds out the truth." Yamapi said
"Truth about what?"
"Don't play dumb with me, Nishikido. I heard from a friend that you're engaged." Yamapi said
Ryo stared at Yamapi in horror.
"When do you plan on telling him? I told you not to hurt him!"
"I'm not hurting him!"
"You're not YET hurting him but it will lead to that when you don't tell him the truth."
"He's the one I love." Ryo said
"Your love won't heal the pain you'll cause him if he finds out the truth."
After saying those words, Yamapi walked out of the office to join his friends in the car.

It was 6 am and someone was knocking endlessly at his door. Tatsuya dragged himself out of his bed. He scratched his head as he walked toward the door. He was wearing a loose white shirt and a boxer shorts that stopped midway his things. His hair was all over the place and scratching his head didn't make it look better. The knocks got louder
"I'm coming!" Tatsuya said, his eyes still half closed.
He unlocked his door and opened it.
When he saw who was outside, his eyes shot opened. He blinked twice and even rubbed them.
"Oops. Did I wake you up?" Ryo asked when he saw Tatsuya.
Tatsuya tried his best to fix his hair and then he realized what he was wearing. He pulled his shirt to cover his thighs.
When he did this, Ryo found him cute and tried to hide his smile.
"Uhmmm... Why don't you come in? I'll just take a quick shower and fix my things then we can go."
"Okay then."
Ryo went inside Tatsuya's apartment and settled on the couch. Once he closed the door, Tatsuya ran to his bedroom and jumped on his bed.
"WTH! How can I forget we're going to Okinawa today? Gawd Tatsuya! And he saw you wearing this? What were you thinking?" Tatsuya said to himself.
What Tatsuya didn't know was that when he entered his room, Ryo followed and placed his ear on his door. Ryo heard everything that he said and laughed.
Tatsuya hurriedly took a shower then put his clothes on. He was wearing black pants and a striped shirt. He got his bag from his cabinet and placed the clothes his hands could grab from the closet.
When he was done packing, he got his keys and joined Ryo in the living room.
"Ready?" Ryo asked.
Tatsuya nodded.
Tatsuya was surprised when Ryo grabbed his hands. It made him jump a little and he blushed.
"I'll hold your bag for you." Ryo said as he grabbed the bag from Tatsuya's hands.
"Huh?"
"I'll hold it for you. It's too heavy." Ryo said.
Tatsuya lightly smacked his forehead. What was he thinking? Ryo holding his hand?Ryo was already out of the apartment when he saw Tatsuya still standing on the living room.
"Tatsuya!!! Let's go!" Ryo said.
Tatsuya looked around the room and then saw Ryo waving at him from outside. He hurriedly got out and locked his apartment.
On their way to Okinawa, Tatsuya was asleep. Ryo just watched him the whole time. He was constantly repeating to himself how beautiful Tatsuya looked. He never changed. He's still the beautiful Tatsuya he knows when they were young. If only he can see Tatsuya's smile again. That would make him the perfect person that he used to be.
They arrived at the resort after lunch. They already ate lunch on their way there so they were still full. They were welcomed by the resort staffs and were lead to their room.
The room looks expensive. No, it wasn’t a room, it was a villa. It is completely furnished and it even has a mini bar. Tatsuya looked around the villa and found that there was only room with only one bed.
"Uhhhh...Ryo? Is there another room?" Tatsuya asked when he walked back into the living room where he finds Ryo unpacking.
"Hmmm... I really don't know. Nakamaru was the one who booked me here. I’ll check okay?"
Ryo stood up and inspected the villa. Tatsuya just stood at the living room and waited for Ryo to come back.
"I didn't find another room. Just the one on the left."
"That's what I thought. How are we supposed to sleep?" Tatsuya asked
"You take the bed. I'll sleep on the floor." Ryo said.
"But Nakamaru booked this for you. You sleep on the bed. I'll sleep on the floor." Tatsuya said
"No. Your back will hurt and I can't let that happen. Johnny will kill me when his talent can't go to work after vacation because of a back ache." Ryo said
"I'll sleep here then. The couch looks soft."
"And what, get eaten by mosquitoes? You sleep on the bed. I'm fine on the floor." Ryo said
"But--"
"It's final. I'll drag you to bed if you don't agree"
Tatsuya just sighed.
He got his bag and started unpacking too. After they finished unpacking, Ryo asked Tatsuya if he wanted to explore the place so that tomorrow, they'll be able to enjoy. Tatsuya agreed. He changed into his slippers and joined Ryo outside. Their villa has a stair that leads to the beach.
"UWAAAAAA~ it’s so beautiful!!" Tatsuya said as he saw the sea.
Ryo who has been walking towards the sea looked back when he heard Tatsuya. He can see Tatsuya's eyes glowing when the other saw the sea. Ryo ran back to Tatsuya.
"Are you okay?" Ryo asked but Tatsuya was still mesmerized by the beauty of the place.
"Tatsuya? Hey!" Ryo snapped a finger at him and Tatsuya came back.
"Ryo! It's so beautiful! It's the first time I've seen the sea like this!" Tatsuya said.
"Yeah, I just realized that--"
Ryo wasn't able to finish what he was saying because Tatsuya grabbed his hands and dragged him to the sea. It was only hours ago that he wished to see Tatsuya smile and right now, his prayers have been answered. Ryo felt like everything was in slow motion. He and Tatsuya holding hands and running towards the sea and Tatsuya smiling like there was no problem in the world.
Finally, their feet touched the water. Tatsuya let go of him and played with the water. Ryo just stood there watching him. When Tatsuya saw him, he splashed water to Ryo. He laughed seeing Ryo soaking wet with sea water and ran when he saw the other preparing to splash him back. Ryo ran after him and as he was trying o run away from him, he stumbled and he fell. Ryo thinking that Tatsuya was hurt rushed towards him. He was about to help Tatsuya get up when the other splashed him with water again. Tatsuya was trying to escape but Ryo already grabbed his hand and pulled him back down. The two of them rolled on the water and played for some time. All the while, both of them were laughing and having fun.

Guess what? I passed my first exam!!! :D YAAAAYYY!! So good after passing to read your update :P Actually, teacher told me that I was a good student the whole half-year she's teaching and that I can go home, cuz I passed! XDDD I was like "Eh? Are you kidding? no? KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" lol but I just thanked her, and walked away :D So happy!! I didn't even learn my stuff for exam XDD feels so good!
